What do you mean by quest "system"?

I mean somthing to make it so you can add quests to a menu and later if you forgot what you had to do you can view that menu and see your current quest.

It's tough in 2k3 - basically you need to be a fairly good eventer to make it look pretty. I don't think someone could make it for you because of the level of customization it requires - it can be done, but it needs some creativity and I think it would only be useful if you knew how to do it yourself.

Anyway, I would use picture eventing for it myself, if I were using 2k3. A really bland one could use show choices and messages.

A nice way of doing things would be to have every quest turn on a switch... Then, when you come back, you can go to a specific character or use a certain item.

That item or character (the char would probably be a fortune teller or something...) would give you a quick rundown of what you were working on based on which switches are active.

Of course, then, the last part of the quest would have to have a turn event off switch, so the item or NPC will not keep telling you about that quest...

Using conditions, you can keep track of several different quests at once... At least, you should be able to...  :-\

I think what you were thinking of was more along the lines of a quest log or journal/diary type thing right? Well what Sashikinaroji suggested is a great alternative to a long and arduous task which really would involve a lot of effort and creativity in 2k3.

If you're looking at doing something like that then you might want to start with a custom menu system. As far as I'm aware they require a fair bit of effort and I don't know how to make them. Perhaps we should ask for a tutorial on custom menus if there isn't one already  :)
