I wasn't sure where to put make this thread since no forum seemed to be fitting, so I chose RMVX since this is really a question "should I use RPG Maker VX or continue with RPG Maker XP?"
I've already made my question, but I would like you to know before you answer that I have neither VX nor XP currently installed and I'm wondering whether to get the one version or the other.
The only thing I know that differ between RMXP and RMVX is that the latter has a more classic look and feel to its games but that it also does not allow for as creative mapping as with XP since VX doesn't have as many layers (I might be wrong since I haven't used either in quite a long time). So, which edition should I go with? RPG Maker XP or RPG Maker VX? Thank you so much for your help (assuming I will get any :tpg:)!
~Rukishou, awesomeness itself :3
if i were you i would use XP. VX uses less database...and in XP you can do much more things. anyway, it depends on the graphic styles too...VX, much smaller, and few resources in tilesets... in XP you have lots...and way easy to get more. my op. ;D wait for more skilled RM makers to explain you better =)
There's a topic for this. Search for it and read it yourself, we don't need another one please.
Sorry, didn't know. ^^

and thus only pay you $190. Here you go :) Thank you.
You can't use a coupon I just gave you. It will not work with this order.
But I paid you with the discount...?
besides, 10% of $300 is $30 so you'd pay him $270 not $190
What happened to this thread...It all-of-a-sudden turned into a advertisement lol
Is rmrk sponsored by Pepsi Twist???
