on the enemy's what does mean the C,B,A,F,E,D, on the element eficiency and state eficience?
and in weapons, whats the + and - on state change?
im new using this part of the mm...so if anyone...
If XP is anything like VX, (which I assume it is), The elements efficiency rating has to do with how strong a monster is against that element. C is normal damage, with B and A meaning the monster takes less and less. D, E and F mean more damage taken from that source or more likely to suffer that state. With weapons, the + means that the weapon has a chance to inflict that state on the enemy struck. Same thing with elements, if + the weapon has that attribute.
VX has this feature, try it in XP: right click on things you don't understand, then left click on the "what's this?" box. It's a great tool.
It's the other way around - at least in XP. It's worded as how effective the element is against the monster, not how strong the monster is against the element.
If you have a monster that has an A against element Fire, it's very weak against fire and fire-based attacks (spells and weapons) will do more damage. C is normal. D and E mean the monster is resistant to fire and those attacks won't do as much damage. F means the monster will be HEALED if you use those attacks against it.
In weapons and items, a + on state change means the weapon or item inflicts that state, while a - means it removes it. In armors, a + on state defense means it defends against that state.
What shaz said. Yeah.
Press the ? button (or F1) while in the database and click it. The program tells you what each is.
