Title: flowers blowing in the wind/trees, working camp fire
Post by: tashirodc on November 02, 2009, 06:53:57 PM
Hey I'm new and need some help with these events, I thought that I could find a tutorial on here for it but I don't see any or I didn't look deep enough.

I have created a storm scene with events but I need parallel processed flowers that look like they are blowing around, or trees. Since it is in the same type I was wondering how to create a moving camp fire as well.  Thanks.

The blowing trees/flowers and the campfire can be done with charsets. I have a campfire charset somewhere on my computer...

and it's attached to this post.  (the campfire is not made by me, idk who made it)

You just need to place the event, and check the "Stop Animation" box.  This makes it loop through its animation frames while the event isn't moving.

ya know, I know what 'stop animation' means as far as it is concerned in XP, but why they call it stop animation makes no sense when it starts the animation continuously lol

lol - I figure "stop" is the event status (stopped moving) rather than the action of stopping something (stop the animation).  I've heard of 'stop motion' in films, but I doubt the two are related.

Now stop (action) confusing the issue :D
