Title: Blizz-abs -making an enemy kill quest
Post by: dylstew on October 24, 2009, 12:32:23 PM
I want to make 2 quests a quest where you have to kill 10 koopa's . whit variables. but if i do a variable in the monster event ,the monster wont respawn.. how do i make him respawn while there is a variable in the event?

second quest is:
koopa's have 70 procent chance of dropping a koopa shell.
you need to get 20 koopa shells to complete the quest.

now i cant do anything (events) in the monsters if i want them to respawn. how can i do something in while they still respawn?
or is there another way of making these quests?

Your language is quite difficult to understand but I'll try to help.

You have to make a counter that count every koopa you've killed. You can do this by adding a conditional branch on monster group tab at database which add the value of a counter variable by one if a koopa's status is knockout. You have to copy-paste the conditional branch at every monster group containing koopa.

Then, you have to make a parallel process common event with conditional branch that check whether you got 20 shell or not.

The drop rate can be adjusted when you set the item to be dropped at monster tab on database.

Blizz-ABS is a script created by Blizzard (or so I remembered). You should ask him. He is probably hanging around at chaos-project (search using google).

(Moderator, I think this one should be moved to event.)
