OK, quick thing, i just typed tons and tons, and my computer like freaked out and now instead of typing again I'm just plainly going to ask for help cause I really cant type all that again.
OK, so i searched all over, even tried to download a Pokemon game for RPGXP and find the part of script that would help me but I'm no good at scripts, basically I need a script [or somone to tell/show me how to use events] to make it so the players can either use a weapon or item/items to capture whatever enemies I allow them to capture, pretty much same as a Pokeball from Pokemon with my own sort of twists, I really can't find help anywhere so hopefully this site can, I'm new to using this site and still getting used to the "rules" for different things but I do remember them saying make sure you check the database and any sites you can and I know I have, so I need help lol
If your going to make a script for me I'm online most of the night [from maybe around 9pm or 11 - 4am or 5] but you can catch me sometimes in the morning/afternoon, so if I haven't given enough information then tell me what you need to know, even ask me for my IM's [instant messangers] if you really need to talk like..right then, and um, well, if someone replies telling me how through events [which I tried many different ways and couldn't get very far] then thnx, hope to hear from someone soon with help, bye.
Also, does anyone know if there is, or if anyone can, make a dice roller script for like any kind of die, like in Dungeons and Dragons, 3-sided die, 4, 12, ect., for spot checks, or anything you'd wana use it for.
Random number? It's on the event commands somewhere...
random number? theres a random thing in control variables, but that doesnt help me for dice, i need like, it to automatically use a dice, with a graphic and stuff.
You can use a Show Picture command for a graphic, as you say. I would actually suggest that is an example of something that is better done with events than it is with scripts.
In any case, I don't really know anything about Pokemon and I'm way behind on all my scripting projects, so I'm afraid I cannot help in any case :(
oh, well thnx anyways for the few replies, I guess I'll jsut haev to keep searching
