Hi, I looked around these forums, and on the internet but I could NOT find a tutorial to make an ice box puzzle
that is you push a box and it goes in one direction until it hits a wall or impassible surface
the only thing I found close was this

which has your character moving along the ice
I started something so far
using conditional branches to check the players direction, and move the block until it hits an impassible space
now, to explain the next part that i would like to do, i will use the diagram in Inutorineko's tutorial

the brown spots are where the blocks would count as impassible, but the player would not.

You'll figure it out if you haven't already, but that crystal in the lower right corner (rightmost one) will stop you getting behind your box to push it.

in the attachment below, I have my set up
Basically, I need to get the switch to activate, when the block touches it, once that happens, a door would open.
after trying multiple things, I have had NO success at doing this.
any help would be appreciated : D
