Because the VX default is blech. I remember someone had one that was what I was looking for: not so square.

Sure, the style of VX is squarish and stuff, but it's just.... >_> Like the sand roads. You can't have them unless you want an ugly block of brown surrounding it, making the road look completely ugly and square next to the grass it's on.

IIRC, Mr. grafikal designed a tilset with rounded cliff faces and other nifty tiles. It's in the resource database for VX, I believe.
