Title: Visible status ailments - how to
Post by: KeijidaKilla on August 07, 2009, 08:41:57 PM
Using 2k3, I'm using the gauge battle type and I was wondering if there was any way of having either text or a picture appear above a character's head when they have a certain ailment.
For example, When a character is poisoned, it has a symbol for poisoned appears above the poisoned battler.

You would need a custom battle animation for every battler you have with that condition in effect. The RTP Battlers come with one "ailment" stance, so you would have to use photoshop or something of the sort to add in either poison bubbles, the word "Poisoned," or whatever it is you want.
