In Allentown, PA. It's about 5 hours away, but I'm gathering some people and taking a road trip. They're playing with Coheed, so that's a bit of a bonus. The show is at the end of the month. I'm pretty pumped up for it.
Whaaat!? WHEN!? Dude that's where I'll be this very weekend! WHEN!?!?!
Edit: Oh, end of the month.
Well, we're seeing Incubus this weekend in Philadelphia. Maybe we'll come back for that show, because last month I got my girlfriend way into Dear Hunter, so maybe she'll want to go.
edit: Oh, it's on a Wednesday. Hm.
If you decide to go, let me know. We're thinking of getting a couple hotel rooms and just staying there for the night. You're welcome to join.
Sounds like an awesome night :tpg:
Have fun then, Holk, and maybearlen.

Thanks for the offer, but I don't know if my girl will go for the whole "some guy I know on the internet's gonna split a hotel room with us" thing lol. She lives nearby, anyway. Like 20 minutes away from Allentown.
But we might be going, so I still might see you at the show. I'll let you know.
Update: We're going.
Bring back pictures and videos :)
AW SHIT. I'm surprised I didn't know about this. I could probably go if call off that Wednesday. Allentown is only an hour away here. What's in Allentown that they'd go and play there with Coheed? It's at the Crocodile Rock Cafe. I've been there once a while ago. A bit small.
Small venues are usually awesome.
I saw Minus the Bear in a small venue, in a random club down here in Pittsburgh. It was amazing.
Also, it was in a club, so I could drink.
Hey! This one's in a club where I can drink, too! ;8
Yeah, I totally don't dispute small clubs. I was just saying lol. I was at the Chameleon club in Lancaster a lot, since I live a couple blocks from it. Unfortunately I haven't been in it since they remodeled months ago. Supposedly there's much more space in it now.
This show is an all ages show, so you most likely won't be able to drink. Was the club in PGH that you're talking about Diesel? I went to a few shows there, and it isn't really set up well for concerts. I do like small venues though. I wish Mr. Smalls sounded better, because that place would be amazing.

QuoteAll ages show.
Must be 21 to drink-I.D is required.
And yeah, it was Diesel. Watching from the 2nd floor balcony was pretty sweet.
I wish you were around here when Laga was active. That was the best venue I've ever been to.
We might not be going. There's another show exactly a month from then in Ohio, which is closer, and they're headlining, and it's during that G20 summit thing in Pittsburgh (so classes are canceled anyway). It's too perfect.
But I already bought the tickets for Allentown.
We might go to both, lol.
I was thinking about going to Ohio, but the other bands aren't as good. I'd rather see Coheed than Thursday and Fall of Troy. Thursday was one of my favorite bands back in the day, but they just aren't good anymore.
Fall of Troy's playing in Ohio with them? They used to be my favorite band.
They suck now, but maybe they'll play stuff from the new album, and it won't suck.

I was never really into them. I liked FCP, but then it was on GH, and I heard it a million times. I still hold out hope for Coheed though, and with Dillinger's drummer playing with them, it should be interesting to see.
Lucky. ._.
