Whenever i'm torrenting things, more often than not, especially on private trackers, I get practically no upload speed.

The completed torrent is done seeding and hasn't been moving for quite some time. Nobody else is home and the other computers are off, so what is eating my upload speed?
;o;
Upload limits set in utorrent? That'd be my first guess, but I'd imagine you'd have checked that already.
Did you run the speed guide when you set it up, because there's settings for each "tier" of up/down speed. Though I assume you did that already, too, because you're downloading pretty fast.
idk lol
Yeah, I checked both.
Thanks for the offered help, oh Great Arlentree. ;o;
Have you checked your ports. Open one for utorrent and make sure utorrent isnt selecting a random port.
Done that as well.
Have you tried rebooting? Sometimes my torrents get slow, and after a reboot, they're back to normal again. Another thing could be that the 2 people leeching from you at that time are leeching a lot from the other people, and only a little from you.
On some private trackers, depending on the amount of seeders each seeder has so much time to seed that torrent, i know on some torrents ive used there have been that many seeders that after 2 hours of seeding my time hasn't come up yet.
How old is your modem/router.
Did you check the section under bandwidth that says "alternate upload rate when not downloading"
just double to make sure its not checked then set on a low #

I think it may be the leechers, honestly.

It started seeding fine for a while after it finished.

It's unchecked.
Theres a few reasons.
1. It's because there are 93 other seeders. There are 93 other people the leechers have to download from.
2. Not everyone is using cable or DSL. Lots of people still use dial up and attempt to download files. (fail)
Basically. Your fine. LOL.
