Title: RPG Maker Help.
Post by: Jamizzle on June 10, 2009, 09:31:09 AM
I'd just like to say I had no idea where I should post this so thats why I put it in this forum.

Ok, well basically I haven't been on RPG Maker in a few months.
I recently made a game and when I test my game the menu starts scrolling rapidly. After a few seconds it stops.

I then can only use the down arrow and not the up arrow to select new game.

Then as soon as the game starts my character just runs to the right and I can't move them in any direction.

It happens on RPG Maker XP, VX and 2003. It is so frustrating and I have no idea how to fix this problem!

Any help??? I think the controls for the game might be set wrong but I have no idea how to change them.

Learn to read. This is the RMRK Creativity boards.

If you didn't notice these boards:

http://rmrk.net/index.php?PHPSESSID=678ea4e380d53cc99bbfa8bd05e374b0&board=109.0
http://rmrk.net/index.php?PHPSESSID=678ea4e380d53cc99bbfa8bd05e374b0&board=121.0
There they are. Most likely people who know anything about this will be looking in those boards and not a place where people post their songs, lyrics, poems, etc.

My tip for you: re-download and re-install.

Redownloading and reinstalling.

It used to work fine, I don't see what could of made it start acting all wierd.

You said it happens with all the RPG Makers. If so I doubt it's their problem. Your computer is messed up. Not the RPG Makers.

Yeah well that appears to be the most likely reason...
