Post by: jingles on February 22, 2009, 07:25:45 PM
Well, i was making this game when i set up a battle where your suppose to lose, but no matter what iv'e tried, once the event is done then it gives me game over right away, and i need the game to keep going after that battle

So how do i do it?

The "Enemy Encounter" event command allows you to add different settings aside from who you fight. One of those is "Defeat Handler". If you have it set to "Game Over", then obviously, the game would end when you lose. If you select "Execute Custom Handler", you can change what happens after the battle (like if you wanted to put a cutscene or something) and have the game go on. Hope that helped.

Heal the character a small bit immediately after you leave the battle. I know I had to do that before to make it work.
