Now the bad news: You can't double jump when you're carrying this little beauty.

I think that's a pretty bit disadvantage for what it does for you.  but we'll have to see

pretty much designed for uberstopping, kind of shitty thought out drawback. "ooh new, slower bat that knocks enemies out and stops uber but no doublejump sounds like a fair trade"

Also the new maps are Arena_Watchtower and CP_Junction

In most cases, the Sandmans' benefits out way the disadvantages, consult your local medic today.

On a less fail note, I think it's a cool idea that will shift the current strategies.
I like the new maps a lot, I just wish they'd bring a new mode that isn't entirely team based or that doesn't involve capturing something.

err...it's called Team Fortress.
Arena is as close as they'll get to Deathmatch.

drawback of the bonk drink is actually a slowdown of the scout afterwords.

I realize.
it was speculation based on "retire the runner" which I'm now thinking is goign to be killing a certain number of scouts that are slowed down

oh yes, and teh shotgun is going to have recoil that hurts, I wonder what it's plus will be.

Is that Egypt map based on a custom map? I remember playing on a map called cp_egypt sometime last month and it looked EXACTLY like that.

it may be a community map that they just add to the standard set.
that's where a lot of the maps have come from.
