Title: Searching for Vampireish Games...
Post by: JADgirl on January 22, 2009, 02:26:26 AM
I am looking for vampire and/or warewolf themed games (yes, I'm a Twilighter. Come to think of it, has anyone made a Twilight game?) Preferrably a RPG XP, but 0thers are acceptable if they'll pay on my PC (I don't have any other makers installed).

there aren't any that I know of, and I don't think Twilight would make a very good game tbh.

If you would've asked like four years ago I had a werewolf game that used a day/night cycle to shapeshift him.  : D;

But as for current, I'm not really aware of any.  Then again, the only time I really play other games is when I'm looking to see if someone else did something I had an idea for :P

And yeah....Twilight doesn't seem like it'd work well with RPGmaker, unless you were either adhering to the book plot or going beyond what was already done.  Granted, I never made it through like half of the first book, so I really don't know what's involved.

But if I do come across any, I'll let you know.

If you are looking for commercial games, the Castlevania series has some vampires.

My brother heard of a game called Blood Reign, though he doesn't know what platform is it for.

Sonic Unleashed has a cartoony werewolf, but seriously, lycanthropy + Sonic irks me. From what I've heard though, it's a good game.

Well, you could always go pick up Disgaea if you like some cartoony demons.

BloodRayne, not Blood Reign. The game sucks.

The original or the series itself?

Blood Omen. The Ones with that emo spirit-guy are lame.

I can't see a Twilight game working.  It's a romance with little to no actual confrontation.
There'd be less gameplay than a Phoenix Wright game.

Twilight has no Vampires in it; if it can walk in the sun it isn't a freakin' Vampire.
