Title: I need help looking for my computers specs...
Post by: Kefka on December 24, 2008, 05:05:02 PM
i went on emachines website to look for the power supply wattage. It didn't help for how much it can support. My step-brother told me that its was a 160 watt power supply. Im getting a new video card that needs a power supply that supports 350 watts or more.

My question do you know any sites that have the full specs for my computer. E machines left a lot of detail out including specific details for memory and didn't mention power supply.

nvm i got a new 400-watt poewer supply.

Normally, it says it on the back of the machine where the PSU is.

I've had two emachines computers in the past and they both worked very well, for what they were. No problems due to it being an emachines. Which just goes to show that when buying a brand computer instead of building your own, it's up to luck whether or not you'll have a good run with it. Unless you have an HP. Those suck. :)
