A logo I made. For a logo design contest. :|
The concept was that the whole typeface is a part of a hill.

Looks really good :). I don't know if it's 2 versions of the logo, but I like the blue one the best. It's more softer to look at.
Again, great job.
Any particular reason for it? Is there a Hill30 someplace? That is very nice.
I like them! If they are two seperate pictures, then the white one is better. If not, then it still looks great!
Great job!

I agree, the client likes that version better too.

It's for a *paid* design contest, the client's forming a small open source development company called "Hill30"
I think the meaning for that name was so it illustrates an exact and specific "ideal" place. As in "nirvana" or something
and it has a specific address - in this case it's hill number 30. Thank you ^_^

Well since it's paid, I should be critical! Ok, so here's just all the very small things I'm going to pick about, since these are the things that in the end will need to be fixed anyways. :)
The space under the H is pointed and less rounded. Should be parallel or at least visually parallel with the top of the H.
A few rogue pixels here and there:
One at the right side of the H where the bend meets the vertical part of the H on the outside.
One at the tip of the first I in the black section.
One darker blue pixel in the lower left corner of the 30 Block where the curve meets the horizontal line.
Also the 30 Block's lower right corner is less fluid than the left side, the parts where the curve meets the horizontal and vertical lines are noticeable.
Most of these are less noticeable with the blue background but in that, the blue squares the letters sit on appear thinner and a little bit awkward. By awkward, I mean their thin appearance there, I like them there, just make those a pixel wider in the blue version.
Hope this helps!
Very nice I like the first one the most 8)
I like the first one more, but they're both very nice.
I vote second one :)
maybe a more radical font? Unless of course its a professional business suit and tie company
