The chord progression you started off with sounded really familiar to something i can't place...I think it's a final fantasy theme. Either way you're making great progress, especially with bending the rules of key. Keep it up.

I figured it out, I was thinking of Decisive Battle from FF6. After listening to it, though, it's not really the same. lol.

This is really awesome, man. I really like the sounds you're using for the mp3's, too. They fit really well.
