Post by: seskaa on November 03, 2008, 06:56:24 PM
i have been looking at alot of topics today and i relized that alot are just taking up space...
theres several that are over a year ald and have broken links in them and some that are over a year old and just pointless....
I suggest you delete thos topics it will organize a lil better and afterwords you get that feeling of acomplishment....

You're right, we should delete some topics.

Let's start with this one and work our way to your account.

Thanks, but we don't take forum maintenance advice from idiots. There is no point in deleting a topic just because it's old. I know a lot of forums will do that, and some will also delete a thread once it gets to a certain amount of posts and start a "Part 2" version, but that's just dumb. There is no reason to do that.

If it's in a database, as that one was, use the report button and we will move it out of the database if the resources linked to in the broken link is the only object of value in the thread. This is just so that the Databases do not become cluttered with garbage. Otherwise, there is no point in deleting old threads.

protip, all 17 of those computers will have a similar, if not the same IP address, if they all go through your router, meaning, you get banned on one, you're banned on the rest.
