sorry this is a nub question but how do i make a trigger event only be able to happen once? :)

You really should first read some eventing tutorials as this is a basic event command.

Here's how to do it :
-Use self switches at the end of the event e.g. Self Switch=A is turned ON
-Create a new event page that has a trigger if Self Switch A is ON, you can leave it blank or use it for another event.
