It started as Generic RPG. The title screen still reads as such, in fact. But it's GROWING~

This game takes place in an alternate universe. At the end of the era of knights and swordplay, a second renaissance occurs in the various fields of technology, and ushers in the beginning of the modern era. Mankind jumps from horse and carriage to the rhetorical Model T in the space of only 10 years, and continues to move at an absolutely unprecedented pace. Now, humanity has crossed into a new scientific field: genetic experimentation.

Men of science are called, as to be expected, scientists, but those especially adept receive the title of technologist. Our hero (Ralph, for now.) is one of these super-scientists, a forerunner in his area of expertise.

So far, that's about all I've got for plot. That I'm sharing here. If you need to know more, you'll here more, but "more" is incredibly likely to change, and drastically, right now.

Work goes from right to left, top to bottom. First boss of the game, as it appears on the map. Rough draft, unfinished. Just a tease of sorts! 8D

Thanks Modern. :3 I'd call it finished, but I'm not entirely happy with it yet. It looks soft, rather than metallic. ;(

the frames per second needs adjusting imo. the wings appear to flicker slightly then move as they go towards the middle of the wasps body and then flicker again as they reach either side
