small bits to make you LOL

QuotePeople for the Ethical Treatment of Animals sent a letter to Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, cofounders of Ben & Jerry's Homemade Inc., urging them to replace cow's milk they use in their ice cream products with human breast milk, according to a statement recently released by a PETA spokeswoman.

"PETA's request comes in the wake of news reports that a Swiss restaurant owner will begin purchasing breast milk from nursing mothers and substituting breast milk for 75 percent of the cow's milk in the food he serves," the statement says.

PETA officials say a move to human breast milk would lessen the suffering of dairy cows and their babies on factory farms and benefit human health.

You know what, I never really thought about this before, but it is kind of fucked up that I'd rather drink a cow's milk than a human's.   :-\

Some of the times you can kinda see where PETA is coming from, but for the most part they tend to go overboard.

yeah, PETA makes me wonder sometimes.

Then again, it kinda is messed up that we're drinking cow's milk instead of human milk, considering we're not little cows.

However, you can't milk humans like you can a cow.  It's a matter of supply.
Human milking factories would be called unethical by rights activists, and would likely lead to feminist uproar about how "women are more than just tits for milk."

Overboard is putting it a bit lightly when you consider they fund violent activists and put most of the animals they take in to sleep while simultaneously protesting humane societies for putting the animals to sleep that they can't get rid of. If it were up to PETA, no one would have any pets and animals would not be used for medical testing, meaning many medicines and cures we have today and that we would be able to find would not exist. Yet, at the same time they find it ok to use those medicines but chastise anyone else who does, saying "I have to be healthy to fight for the animals that can't".

If PETA had their way, we'd all be wearing birkenstocks.

PETA is fucking crazy and I've been saying it for years. When PETA people at my school walk up to me I can hardly prevent myself from laughing in their faces, the poor brainwashed bastards. This is not to say there isn't some amount of pity for them in me, but damn, the things people will do just to have a cause...

I laughed

so hard

QuoteUsing cow's milk for your ice cream is a hazard to your customer's health. Dairy products have been linked to juvenile diabetes, allergies, constipation, obesity, and prostate and ovarian cancer. The late Dr. Benjamin Spock, America's leading authority on child care, spoke out against feeding cow's milk to children, saying it may play a role in anemia, allergies, and juvenile diabetes and in the long term, will set kids up for obesity and heart disease-America's number one cause of death.

I drink like 6 cups a day, (Which is sad, I suppose) And while i am anemic, i didn't get it half as much when i was 3 or 4 because i was addicted to juice. And i was anemic wayyy before that. I am the most non-anorexic anorexic looking person in the whole entire world (Perhaps) and i am not aware of any heart problems or cancer.
