The software part I can handle well enough on my own, but I'm not sure how to actually connect the hardware- I've only got one monitor port on the back of my tower after all. Is there some sort of splitter I need to buy, or...?
EDIT: Not sure why I didn't mention this, but I actually have both monitors right now, on my desk, in front of me. Power is connected on both.
Erm you need a card with 2 outputs or 2 cards =o
There's some odd peripherals that trick your card into outputting a super wide single screen resolution and then split it to 2 monitors but they cost too much. Just buy a cheap card with 2 outputs =o
Oh! Okay then. Thanks for that. : )
EDIT: Any brands you would suggest?

With your cpu I'd go for the lowest thing since you need to upgrade your whole PC to take real advanage of the higher ones. But you could buy the 4850 now and it'd work in (though be slowed down by) your current PC, then upgrade it later and you'd already have the card sorted.
I'm gonna have to get the cheapest one. >_< I'm glad you linked me though, I had no idea what I was looking for. My current card is completely discontinued- couldn't even find it on ATi's site- so I was pretty lost. @___@
Do you know anything about either of these?

The low price is a little scary...
I thought you had a PCI-Express slot, not AGP =o
See, I really do know nothing. x3 Thanks for the save. : )
Why would you wanna go dual monitors? :P My dad has dual-monitors in his office and it just seems like a hassle.
play games and talk on irc :P
I'd prefer a single wide screen than two 4:3 ones =o
But I already have the two, so...one's an old one, kinda broken, and the other is my default one. I figure I might as well put the old one to some kind of use.
