Title: how to make a basic cut scene

how do you do it i am compleatly stumped on that part

well, first make a map. it should be the default size but if you want the scene to move around then you can make it bigger.

I like to put an event (Make sure it's either above or below everybody, and set it to parallel processing) somewhere in a corner, and in there you can put stuff like:

Dialogue! (Face graphics, message)
Moving events! (Move event)
Move the screen around! (Pan Screen)
Use battle animations! (Show Battle Animation)

In reality, you just need to have a basic understanding of eventing. Just screw around until you come up with something decent and when you're used to it all, go forth and make... things.
