Title: I need help with Cave Story D:
Post by: Arrow on August 06, 2008, 10:54:56 PM
Okay, I just beat Balrog for the second time. Power is on. I have the Bubble Gun and both missile upgrades, 22 HP, and an extra can of Jellyfish Juice. I even got the Charcoal. I just entered the Grasstown Shack and looked at the bed covered in red petals, then killed the monster that jumped out of the fireplace. Now what? I can't figure out what to do guys. D:

There's an old building down from where you killed the red petal monsters, a crack near a motorbike.
You can talk to someone there.

Imao. I tried cave story, and it was good. I stopped playing after the rabbit runs away because my brother kicked me off the computer. And then i had no opportunity to get back on for like three days.

Not only do I need to pick it up again, I seriously need to get my old computer back. It's been broken for like a month now.

I have Cave Story for PSP. It's beautiful, and the game is only like 3 mb.

Did you know that the creator of the game, Pixel actually spent 5 years to make this game perfect?
Talk about diligence.

What surprises me is that this man did everything by himself. Composed all the music, made all the graphics... The only thing supporters have done is make the English patch.

I'm really looking forward to any other games Studio Pixel will release in the future.  ;8

EDIT: A Cave Story MMO would be cool.

I can get through the first two sections- almost all three up until the super heavy compressor boss- of "Hell" without taking a single hit. <3

The rain of killer cherubs and gigantic blocks never fails to draw blood. If you concentrate on the blocks, the cherubs multiply to locustian proportions; if you try and shoot all of the cherubs first, even with a solid wall of Spur, you begin to flounder and waste minutes.

But Ballos is easy once you get the trick; his last level involves so much as getting stung once by the spikes on the floor, jumping up through the rotating platforms during the period that you are invincible, reaching the eyes and unloading the missiles.

Auto-fire helps one hell of a lot.
