A friend of mine wants some pirate like monsters and faces for her project and well she doesn't really like to request much on forums, dunno why. But anyway, if anybody could help me find some character, monster, and face sets of anything pirates. It would be greatly appreciated.
Just some characters. However, these are not mine and some of which require credits.
You'll see where credit is due in the file name of the attachments.
The characters are as followed:
Male Pirates
Female Pirates [Required Credit]
Captains
Enjoy ;8 because I know I will when I get VX back up and running. Pirate games for the win!

Thanks a bunch. She'll be really happy for this. But no face sets or battler ones either?
I checked battlers on that site, no luck. Facesets I didn't look for. There appears to be a few client based programs to make your own there, however I can't run them considering it's windows only.

Send me the link since I have Vista and it should work just fine.
My mistake. They're only for Character creation. I'll post those links here instead. I did check for facesets and I found nothing.

I've been told the 3rd link is the best of the three.
However, I still prefer using:

for my character creation.
Thanks. But that japanese link is truly the best.
Ehm.. Hi! ^^;
I'm the ''friend'' who requested it.. it seems i gave him the wrong info... my fault ._.;
I got those pirates sprites and are using them actually. But i got no way to battle them becous
i don't have any pirate battlers... So im pretty much looking for pirate pictures i can use.
Well, I'll continue to look for a pirate battler. If I cannot find one, I'll 'attempt' to make one using a stock image photo and some work some of photoshop's magic. Other than that, if there's no luck in it at all, I would suggest a side view battle system using the sprites instead of battlers.
somehow i imagine finding pirate pictures would be easier than editing every sprite to be fit for side view battle.. and i try to use as much rtp as possible in my game o.o
Well, here ya go. I'm not sure what style your game is, but I did a fast edit here. It's not even the correct size I'm sure so please excuse the size problems. I don't know what size it's supposed to be anyway. Here's a couple I did realllly fast. Like LIGHTNING fast.
Also, if you actually DO like these, I'll be glad to make more of a similar style if I were told what the correct battler size is or at least the size [in pixels] that you want them to be.
Those look like photos o.o.
Well it sure is better than nothing!
thanks alot ^^
only one missing now and thats a female pirate.
Oh I have a female pirate, it just requires more editing than I can do right now. Haha. It's extreeeemely late, or rather, very early in the morning here and I need some sleep. However, when I get up I'll be sure to fix them all up. I know these kind of suck at the moment [mostly due to my lack of any skills at this late of an hour], but I'll make sure they're touched up and good to go. Those two are just starters. Also, yes, they were photos. However they need more editing to look less like a photo, which I will do a little later.
no problem im very thankfull for your help ^^
*waits patiently wagging her tail....*
Mkay, I just finished 'em up. They're all the same style and size. You might need to resize them before you import them, I'm not sure but it isn't difficult.
Thanks alot! i owe you -^^-
Nice work, grafikal!
