Africa's totally not supporting their weight.
Iraq really needs to pick up the slack, too. America's killing them.
have they fixed the damn memory leaks yet?
Nope, all computers regardless of OS still have that problem.
Not a bug, feature. It caches pages recently gone to so when you go back, you can go back instantly.
If you want to have something that helps:
1) enter "about:config" in the address bar and go
2) create a new boolean entry, name it "config.trim_on_minimize"
3) set created entry to true
4) ??????
5) not finishing this lame joke
But now if you minimize firefox, it'll empty out all of the memory it's using in this feature =)
Woah. I thought ahref's memory leak post (and subsequently my reply to it) was in the applefag thread.....
how did I manage that I wonder...?
QuoteMark your calendar, wrap a ribbon around your finger or write a little sticky yellow note. Download Day will start on June 17, 2008.

DAMMIT I DIDN'T TELL IT TO REPLACE FIREFOX 2 BUT IT DID.
DAMMIT.
lol @ slow downloads. I think it crashed them for a while
22kbs ;-;
Firefox 3 is stupid because it got rid of 2.0.0.14 and doesn't work with any of my add-ons.
I've had Firefox 3 for almost three weeks now. :tpg:

this is great I LOVE IT.
its gonna take me like 2 days to get it all sorted though.
request: list your extentions. roph ill get yours from your blog :D
I just installed it, and now I have 3 shortcuts to Firefox on my desktop, and I can't move or delete any of them.
"Cannot read from the source file or disk."
Properties claims they are "not valid shortcuts."
???
Uh .... now there's 4...
Ah, okay. I restarted and they disappeared. BOY THAT WAS SCARY! ;8
;9
Yeah, restarting your comp usually makes them go away :P Thanks for the quad post.
IT WAS THREE

I've been using Mozilla Firefox 3 Beta 5 for a few weeks too!
But now there's this. ;8
Firefox 3 could really be the best web browser to date. :tpg:
Firefox 3 really doesn't like me right-clicking.
Canada's totally cheating. It says they have 214000 downloads, but they are the darkest red colour which is supposed to suggest 500 000+
No, the darkest red is anywhere above 100,000.
What's the 500k + for then?
100,000 to anywhere above 500,000
Its there to confuse you
Download Day is stupid. I'm downloading it tomorrow.
I wasn't going to, but now I'm going to connect on my laptop and download from there, too. Just to compensate.
Download day is over.
You sure about that?
QuoteThanks to the support of the always amazing Mozilla community, we got more than 8 million Firefox 3 downloads in 24 hours. That's more Firefox downloads than we've ever had in a single day -- an impressive feat indeed!
Please be patient while the good people of Guinness review our World Record attempt. This might take a few days so please check back here. And, a huge thanks for all of your support!

nobody has the record yet.
Also, I downloaded 2 minutes post-download day, just to spite them >:D
Was this download day thing even officially sponsored by Firefox?
If the creators for Firefox wanted this to go down, why didn't they just put it on their home site ... instead of ... making a new one? Did they even make it? Or was it someone else's idea?

I like the hundreds of thousands of user-created plugins and addons that are always fully supported.
And what's this bullshit about functionality? It's a web browser! It's been functioning fantastically since version 1!
