Save the image to your computer. I usually stick resources for games in the respective game folder.
Go to the resource manager and click on BattleCharSet. Click on import and find the image. Choose the color as transparent, and click OK. For a battle character, you'll have to into the database and go to Animations 2. Add one to the array size and go through and set the new battle sprite.
