Title: [RESOLVED] higher collision effectiveness
Post by: Sabre_of_Pain on May 30, 2008, 07:44:22 AM
when an event touches the "hero" it does not activate, unless the player moves into it. this makes it hard to have enemies that attack the character, yet are avoidable by moving. also there are assorted other uses for something like this. is there a way i can change it, so that if an event moves directly into the player it activates? if not is there a script anyone knows of that can be used to change this?

Try event touch, rather than player touch

O_o it appears i assume too much. i didn't even bother trying that, because i assumed it meant when the event touched another event... well yeah that seems to have fixed my problem thanks.

It's not enforced generally except in Scripts under Falcon's watchful, noob-friendly (j/k) eye, but it's always a nice thing to do, as if someone is browsing looking to help, it saves time if he can see what topics have already been served. It also helps people with similar problems to see that a solution has been found for a specific problem.
