Title: How about a historical-setting-genre-Game?
Post by: pititatkung on May 02, 2008, 04:25:44 PM
i've been working on my project which the story involved in the Thirty Years' War (a.d. 1618-1648).
the place is real, sum events are also taken from the real war. the thing i make it up is the character.
u could say a History-fictional game.

i wanna know wat u guys think about it?
i found that lot of people sumtimes not like stuffs with history.
anyway i was waiting to hear you all voices!

if there are people who interested in it, i'll go make some preview of the game and post in it the Project Forum.

I love historical settings.  :)

History is not boring.  It cannot be, because we live it every day, every second.  People think it's boring because of the way it's presented to them, especially in schools.  :(

History isn't boring. If people would just stop thinking negatively about anything related to school...  ;9 I haven't yet to encounter an RM game based on history, give it a try. It'll probably look good.

Well, what about a game set like Assassin's Creed? Have some professional historian tell you that the history you've been tought is fake ect...

;)
