Can someone please give me tips on making your own tilesets/chipsets for RM2003?
I want to create my own but i could do with some tips on like programs or anything to help me.

hey thx do i need to make any of the tiles water or autotiles or anything....

Yes. Eveything left of the brown is for autotiles.

how come when i put down sprites(onto the game maps) i cant see them on the game or events layer and they have distorted colour it like dull now

Probably you imported a 24-bit bmp. RM2K only likes 256 color and png. Work in those next time.

i had it as PNG
