Title: Installing soundfonts
Post by: Tsunokiette on April 10, 2008, 04:19:55 AM
I have a soundfont I want to use in Finale PrintMusic, but it's not available as a soundfont. How do I "install" the soundfont?

Does that even allow other soundonts? In real Finale you go to MIDI > MIDI Setup > SoftSynth Settings > Select Current Soundfont

It has the current soundfont, but no option to change it. What's the point of saying "current" soundfont if it will remain forever.
I don't exactly have $400 lying around to upgrade to the full version lol.

If your sound card can load soundfonts then you can just do that, and play through your sound card rather than Finale's SoftSynth.
