My comp teacher had me do some texture pieces. Basically, pieces that aren't about the melody or harmony, but rather are more about the way sounds interact with each other.
I ended up making 4, two pure texture pieces, and 2 hybrids.
Might as well post them here, eh?

Programs used: Digital Performer, Spectrasonic plugins, Peak LE, iTunes (LOL for the mp3 converter)
They might be a little clippy, because the computer I'm working with is the most neglected computer with great software in the music building...
All the other computers have at least 2 gigs of ram, and the other station in this room actually has 4, but it doesn't have Digital Performer.
So I'm stuck on this computer, with only 1 gig of ram. :(
But this computer has all the plugins on it. :(
Doesn't make much sense to me. :(
Whatever, enjoi.

Awesome ;D

Dang. They all sound cool but they also all sound trippy. Lol.
Thanks. :)
Did you get any of the inspirations of these on your rare "special time?"
100% sober/lucid.
I was in the music school when I wrote them (had to be) and the room is video-monitored, lol.
Would have been a bad idea to go tripping in there.
Oh, I thought it was, like, homework.
I liek <3

Oh, I thought it was, like, homework.
...it was.
What are you implying, that I can't do homework unless I'm on something?

No, I thought that you would do homework after classes or when noone's watching. IE on a computer in your room or something like that. >_> I know you're good enough to make genius music without being on anything :)
Well, I don't have the bitchin software needed to make those awesome sounds in my room.
But I did use room 110, which is card-key access only, and I'm like 1 of 25 or 30 people that can get in, so I had the place to myself anyway, lol

They could see your talent and looks that easily and decided to reward you? :3 I guess it pays to look good.
