Hi, I'm new to RMXP and I was wondering where can I find games made by RMXP that are NOT encrypted so that I may open the game up with RMXP itself and look around. I've noticed that when your new to a program it helps greatly to have a sample game to open up and look around, even experiment with. Anyone willing to send me their game (not encrypted) please email me at mortalkombat01@yahoo.com or please just reply to this topic.
Thanks in Advance,
Ryu009
Well, I have an idea. Open up RPG Maker XP, press "New Project" and then press the "OK" button. Mess around in there.
If people gave you projects that were open-source, they probably won't be "good enough" for you. Then the ones that are, there's that potential that you'll slightly change something and make the game your own.
Well as i mentioned above, I'm New to RMXP so don't worry about the game not being "good enough" for me. I'm ready to accept any open source games from any nice people who are willing to send me some samples. And as for the slight change of their game and calling it my own, I would NEVER do that. I'm not that kind of person, doing that kind of a thing would not be very honorable.
Well, I don't really have any games good enough and all I really have are event systems, lol. Also, last two sentences: Could be a lie. Lying's even easier on the internet than in real life. And it's pretty damn easy in real life.
Well i guess you will have to take my word for it. Someone has already sent me a sample game and im going to keep the name anonymous. I would like to thank that person very much for the help.
Well, if you want another, then I suggest the sample game KNight Blade. It was released as an official sample game from enterbrain

The coding for this game must be hidden or something becuz i tried to open it up and look for the "events" the only thing besides scripts that can make a game run. I tried right clicking one of the tiles to find events all i found was a blank page of events. So um.. where is the coding that makes the game run hidden?
The way i worded this may be confusing so to make things more clear, im gonna use an example. Say im looking for the events which makeup the introduction scene of "KNight-Blade Howling of Kerberos" sample game you gave me a link to, where do i find that?
Um, nothing's hidden as far as I know. The events that make the intro run are in either the intro map or as a common event. I'll dl the game to find the specific events I guess
