I hope this goes here.

Anyone here use GIMP? I have it and I know how to use it a bit but I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips and tricks for making a sig (otherwise I'll probably have a bad and wont use it :().

Ok, I just seem to remember it being a program that came with Debian when I was using it. Im probably wrong, but I have no idea why thats bothering me so much.

i use gimp 2.0 and i have been for the last year its pretty good its basically a free photoshop

You could just google it, get the address to the website, and there find everything you need.

It's not a free Photoshop.  Photoshop is the professional standard of a "complete" image editing software.  GIMP is that, a good image editor.  Once you get used to it.

Well, they are supposed to teach you the basics.  If you can't find what you are looking for at the main site, maybe you can try finding them somewhere else.  There must be more tutorials for GIMP out there.
