what you have done looks great all you need is patience and it will turn out great
i tried spriting and dont have much patience results were bad :lol:

Nub. Anyone with a brain can tell he's using dollmage's battler as a reference to help guide him in drawing his battler. It looks good and the best I could do in White Ties was to edit hair color. >_>

anyways, I've finnally gotten my lazy ass off of Ro and started some spriting. Since this is still my number one major issue, I'm going to tackle this before all else.

well you could try to use blur i find it very good for lazy spriters like me lol
I think the staff might be too thin. It looks very pixellated as it is. Of course, I am certainly no expert on spriting.
yeah, I'm trying, but I'm using the other animation of him. But both are kindof off as he's supposed to hold the staff at 2 different locations....different than a sword. don't know for now, I'm goignt o work on the defend slides first I guess, I'm going to see if I can make the poses for myself.
and the staff is crap, lmao.
it's there to fill space for now, I've figured out the events needed for different battler animations for different weapons, thats why.
that, and I'm not so great at making weapons, so I'mma worry about it later XD

for the battler...lets see, I'm going to probably be lazy with the victory pose, but no idea yet. For the casting pose, I'mma use the defend pose with one of those little magic circles, trying to find one that'll work well, or just rip one off of dollmage :P
his might be hard to take out, so I might really just make some crappy one.
And since my game I just make dead people flash out in a red color since thats how all the cool people die :P no need to worry about the death pose XD
then it'll just be the attack pose.........
well, I'll get to it when I get to it.

The overall proportion looks right, all the sprite needs is just some polishing:weapons-outfit-etc
Perhaps you can even add more moves to him!
thats what I like about monkeydlu hes good at adapting to whatever there is in Rpg maker
