I had this topic in the help section, but it was suggested i post it here, lookin' for a script. If a mod can move / delete the other one or whatever...

Is it possible with RPGMaker to make a game that's platform based, akin to the GameBoy DBZ Legacy of Goku Games, where fights could be fought on the screen, without going into a separate battle screen. Fighting style would be the same as other platformers (Zelda and the like) but it maintained levelling up and so forth....

Anyhoo, the fighting system like that...is there a way to do it on rpgmaker (2k3 or xp) and if so...how?

Simply make all normal movement left to right, and ladders up and down, as for jumping... I got nothing.
Try (dare I say it?) hbgames.org, they might have something.

moo..you're a tube. I PMd a mod and asked him to delete it so again...chill.
Forcystus, yeah i've gotall that, it's the fightin' i'm thinkin' about. how can i set it like DBZ: LOG style, where you can walk up to the enemy and just shoot/punch them on screen, then run away and stuff, like a platformer...
I'll have a look on this other site, see if they have a script or somethin' i can use.

I haven't seen any good systems, but I remember a half finished one was over at .org

Also, don't be a dick to moo, if you make two topics you should be able to delete one, don't rely on a mod when you can do something yourself.
