Title: [RESOLVED] Projects across computers
Post by: Brady on December 31, 2007, 03:57:17 AM
I have rm2k3 on my computer.  I have my big roject in it, however, wheni go in the 'project' folder, it's actually empty.
I want to continue working my project on my new laptop witout starting over again. I have rm2k3 installed and shiny'd up already, but now just need  the project files on.
I won't see my computer till tomorrow night, but i have a folder full of the packed game disk stuff, so that's all in a folder of it's own with all the rtp, maps, charsets et cetera.

How can i get my project up and running on this laptop at all, without starting from scratch?
(this would also help out to know for some internet teamwork i may be doing soon and i'l need to know for that too)

Thank-you in advance.

Of course. Just make sure you have all the files that you are using and the folder where you saved your game into. Thats should pretty much be it.

Default save folder is in C:\Program Files\RPG2003

*shocked at fast-reply*

I kept fiddling with it and just sussed it to top, but your answer encourages that it just works the same for internet sharing work in my eyes, so that helps a lot too.

Thank-you!

>_> I had to do that once, it's a pain in the ass to have to repeatedly update the other person's files whenever you do something.
