Title: iPod touch jailbreaking
Post by: biohazard on December 25, 2007, 03:36:39 AM
I was just wondering if anyone here had jailbroken their Ipod touch, and what your comments are on the matter.  I'm thinking about doing it for the iPod I just got, but I'm hesitant as to what the risks and problems associated are.

I just did it about 20 minutes ago. It seems to work perfectly! I installed BeatPhone, Chat, and Lights Off, which all seem to work 100% fine!

Direct your Safari browser to jailbreakme.com to install it. It took like 2 minutes to finish for me. = )

Btw, how do you add and remove from the bottom dock on your iPod Touch? I wanna move Installer.app where iTunes is.

I'm going to try it as soon as I get to my friends house that has a WiFi connection.  I plan to put doom and super mario on there.

Did it the first day I got my iPod Touch.

Installed minesweeper, iBlackjack, NES Emulator, Tap Tap Revolution, some themes, and some other stuff.

This seems to be the easiest way of doing it (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0v91MIepB0)

Holy freakin crap, posting from an iPod!  I have two unlocked connections from people near where I live.  Long story short, I go to jailbreakme and I wait and wait and nothing happens. Halp pl0x!

Shit, apple must have done something to prevent the iPod Touch from being jailbroken that way. You might have to downgrade your software version or find another way of doing it.

Yeah, I think I have to downgrade to some other version.  How would I go about this?
