How do I work a healing spell? I go to the skill page but there's nothing to heal hp. I sound like a noob i'm sure but help would be appreciated. Also how do you make a shop? I can't figure it out. ??? ???
I thought the default had some skills ready for you. If there's really nothing then you can always make one.
Increase the array size, change the skill option to healing(HP of one ally or so...) and figure out how much the SP cost and the healing points.
To use the skill, make sure you added the skill on character's classes. You can use the skill in menu or in battle. Or use an event and choose a complete healing instead (If you want to make some kind of Inn event).
To make a shop, make a new event. Double click at the event layer should do it. Choose the shop menu, find it by yourself, it's easy. Add the things you wish to sell.
Okay, thank you. Next thing I need is how to make shop signs above my stores. Do I need to do that myself or is that already pre-made? I also need doors too. :mex:
It IS pre-made, on the event layer (find out), click twice to display the event page. Find a door and shop sign there, unless you want yours custom-made.
Try the Tutorial Database, it works wonders.
I hope you're not sick of answering my questions, because I extremelly appreciate the help. Having trouble making a world map now. I can't find a good tileset. Is there one for it somewhere I'm sure I haven't looked yet or do you need to make your own? If you have one I sure would apprediate it (meaning: PLEASE SEND IT TO ME!!! I BEG OF YOU!!! HELP A FELLOW GAME CREATOR OUT(sorry))
Check the resource links. Find tileset resources, you really should check around before asking question. After you find it, you might want to ask how make it works in tileset database.... :(
Explore and test every 'click' you made for the database won't hurt you. So...why not try it by yourself? If you still have problems with it, read the RPG XP help, or try seeking for question similar to your problems that might already been answered in this forum.
The search button is your friend. Do what emidy said and I'm sure you'll find it.
