Title: Help Please.
Post by: The.Muffin.King on December 09, 2007, 07:12:07 AM
I was wondering if anyone had or knew of a program that could separate the sound from a movie, so that i could just have the sound instead of the sound and the video.

with zilisoft (i think thats what its called) or most dvd rippers.. some not all come with check boxes so you can just have audio or video with no audio etc. i think it leaves the files pretty big though. Then you could just chop em down with an audio program.

Trial and error really.

A way we used to record clear sounds like celery snapping or a pager buzzing etc, was to actually hop in a cupboard with the item and record it then cut it back so you just have the actual sound not you climbing in and out of the cupboard as well.

As for dvd you could just take a portable dvd player in the cupboard with you XD

Im old so this is what we did before there were even just things and dvd rippers lol so no snickering :P

You could probably use VLC player in some way, or Adobe Premiere
