Title: Need help with a catchy title (2)
Post by: Edwin VanCleef on December 09, 2007, 02:04:31 AM
Yay. I asked for something similar to this before. If you want to refresh your memory: http://rmrk.net/index.php/topic,21852.msg274791.html#msg274791

Basically, I need a title for my game. It starts out with "Bridgeman, Colt and Ralph in:"

For the last part of it I'd like to have a rhyme for the title. It has to contain the words Christmas and Peace or something similar to that.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, maybe you remember those Transposia games Pajama Sam and Freddi Fish.
The Pajama Sam games always had rhymes for the titles, like "Pajama Sam in: You are what eat, from your head to your feet!" or "Pajama Sam in: No need to hide when it's dark outside!" or "Pajama Sam in: Thunder and Lightning aren't so frightening!".

Well it may sounds really weird, but I want something similar to that with the words Christmas and Peace (or something similar.) Maybe it's because I'm not a natural english, but I really can't think of anything good.

I love to hear your ideas.

Tell me a little more about your game, and I might be able to help.

Is it going to be a comedy like your last game, or is it serious?

This one will be comedy again. The story and contents of the game are a big joke and should not be taken seriously.

Since I don't know anything about your game, I'm just going to throw a bunch of easy rhymes at you:

There is no Christmas peace when I'm home alone with my niece.
There is no Christmas peace when you're missing a puzzle piece.
There is no Christmas peace when you're tied on a leash.
There is no Christmas peace when you are obese.
There is no Christmas peace when you are covered in grease.
There is no Christmas peace until all of the wars cease.
There is no Christmas peace for the state police.
All I wanted for Christmas was world peace, and instead I got woven fleece.

Do any of these sound good, or would you like me to keep going?

Let's see...I'm running out of things that rhyme with peace, and nothing rhymes with Christmas...so...um...

There can be no Christmas peace without a little elbow grease.
Christmas without peace isn't merry, it's altogether scary!
It's hard to have Christmas cheer when your best friend is a queer.
All the flaws in believing in Santa Claus.
I like the things the way they was back before that Santa Claus.
All of the family is here to celebrate a little Christmas cheer!

Give me some time to think of some more...
