Yeah, every time I actually try to write one it turns out to be crap. But not this time! It's nothing spectacular, but for me it's pretty good. I've come to the conclusion you just can't write great piano pieces without being able to play the piano well, which I can't play it very well, but I can play most of this.
Anyway, lol here:
Dude im still listning to this a second time!!!
Its really good!
I could never do anything like this.
I can imagine u playing it too!!!
WEll done!!!
it kicks ass.
Wonderful job halo!
I would criticize, but I don't know much about musical criticism. I do know what I like, and I can easily say that I love this song.
Thanks guys. =)
I like it a lot. It reminds me of something that would be played around Christmastime. I'm coming to learn that you, as well as myself, are very seasonal in the pieces you compose. They evoke the feeling of the time of year they were written, and that's something I enjoy in music greatly.
lol yes, I'm very seasonal when I write. This is a bit out of character for me though, since around this time of year everything I write is usually very dark.
Yet another way you and I are alike I suppose. =o
I like it.
finale playback is god awful, but I can see what it's supposed to sound like
And I like it. :)
edit: Though I really think it could have used a change up, like a key change or a new progression or something.
I attached the finale file and the midi because I knew it would get more attention that way. They both sound horrible. The MP3 is much better sound quality-wise, but isn't played exactly the way I want it to be, because, well I"m lazy.
And yes, it's repetitive but it's supposed to be a sort-of prelude. I thought I did add a key change though... but I guess not! Ha, I'll have to go add that in now.
It's entirely possible I just didn't notice, LOL
No I just checked and it isn't there, haha. But thanks, you've actually given me a good idea. =D
LOL np~
Uh oh, short attention span time for me. ;-;
I like it, however. At least what I've managed to listen to.
"Red-Haired Girl," eh? Who's it named after? :3
