Title: [RESOLVED] Animating objects
Post by: Dertt on November 24, 2007, 03:06:24 AM
Like, say I create an event with the fountain graphic and I want it to appear as if the water is running. How is this accomplished?
Sorry if there's a tutorial or something on this that I didn't see for some reason.

If you're using RPG Maker XP check the Move Animation box, and uncheck the top box.

Yeah, I'm using RMXP.
What top box? Also, "move animation" is already checked and nothing's happening.

Oh, my bad...

The developers fucked something up while making the english version. Anyways, check Stop Animation and uncheck Move Animation?

Well, that's odd, but it works. Something certainly did get fucked up.

So, is there a way for me to make it so the animation has a trigger, and only plays once?

Use conditional branches, self switches, and if you don't understand what I'm saying; check out the event tutorials on the tutorial database board. ;D

I'm relatively sure I understand.
