is overheating
or at least it thinks it's overheating, because the fan is constantly running full speed
it's fucking november, and 23 degrees out, whatthefuck
I've heard this sort of thing about macbooks. Not to say that they aren't nice or anything, but I'm sure if you search around a bit online, you can find what others have done in this situation.
4 months? Er, aren't you supposed to have bought a new one by now?
And at a higher price too?
Try keeping it in the freezer when it's not in use.
Did you try making sure it's not extremely dusty somehow? :x
Mine has never overheated, but the fan was loud for a while.
Mine used to overheat all the time until I popped one of the RAM sticks out.
Dunno if you can do that on a macbook though, or if you would want to.
Plus it actually overheated to the point of giving me BSODs constantly, and it wasn't just that the fan was loud, so.
