Title: [Music] My new jam
Post by: Holkeye on October 23, 2007, 11:10:43 AM
Well, its been a long time coming, but I finally have some inspiration (and time) so that I can work on some music. I've been eager to get back to writing, and I think I've gotten a little better. I'm learning some new techniques, and a few more tricks. Here is my latest, still in progress.

Hey this is cool, it;s just how i like.

I like the intro where the bell-thingies come slowly and then those cool drummish things come <3

Also when the other bells come and play.(at 1:25 or something)

Awesome.

This is pretty cool. Nice and kinda mellowish. You've done a nice job so far of keeping a consistent feel throughout, and the structure is nice.

The one thing that bothers me is it doesn't really go where you think it's going to, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, of course. I mean I just expect the next section to be big with full strings and louder drums with an acoustic snare sound, and lol it doesn't come. But that's just me of course. I'm sitting here over-analyzing it.

I don't know, hard to give any advice really, so I guess that means you're on the right track. :3 I think I need to listen to it again to get a better feel.
