Hmm, I tried to make something like this in paint when I was about 9. It wasn't pretty, and my mother got mad at me for moving around the icons. :\
It might be usefull, but I dont have a desktop. I have a wallpaper, and two icons. I have a recycling bin, and a folder named desktop that I keep my desktop in.
