Well, I was playing it, and it looks great, but I couldn't find a server that had more than a few people that my ping was under 100 for : /

On the bright side, the bots seemed at least somewhat decent.

Which would be better? Quake Wars or Halo Wars?

I'd say H.Wars even though I hate the Halo series.

Halo always sucked.  I have two retarded fanboys who call themselves gamers in my class, that says halo 1 and 2 are better than half life two.  Neither of them have actually played half life for any amount of time.  Half life one is better than halo 3, ffs.

Neither.
RTS is real-time. They're both grid-based turn based strategy games.

I'm going to say that Quake Wars and Halo Wars are incomparable because they're from two different genres. A better comparison would be Quake Wars and UT III, which is also undecidable because UT III isn't out and doesn't have a demo out.

Then why mention UT III?

I just was suggesting a game that's gameplay is closer. Although, QW and Battlefield games are even more comparable...

no, he means 2142. For some reason i always thought it was 2910 as well :P

Actually, the battlefield games are all very similar. I haven;t played alot of QW yet, but the gameplay seems to be alot more structured in it than in Battlefield.

yeah, that's true...I was noting that the "unparalleled graphical quality" applied more to player models and vehicles :P
