Post by: Genius on August 27, 2007, 11:32:42 PM
Is there any system or script that can improve an rpgxp game's graphics?

I would imagine the graphics will be as good as the tilesets and charsets you use.  I don't know if it's possible to change the resolution so you can make them more detailed.

Well thats one thing I will try to get feedback on. Thanx

Now do SDK (Standard development kits) improve gfx in a game? If so What would be a good sdk for an rpg xp game?

There isn't a script or system that could do this. Sharpening them wouldn't do anything either. The only way to improve the overall quality of the graphics is to make your own.

you can also try recoloring/shading the existing rtp graphics.  Good way to start making your own stuff

Lol wut? The only SDK I know of is the script and that is mainly to help out scripters, not create better graphics. But I'd also like to say that graphics aren't important as good gameplay, plot, and the uniqueness of a game.

You said sharpen them.

Take some advice from an avid graphics creator, it wouldn't do anything :D
