Title: Guild Wars E/MO Runner
Post by: Tsunokiette on August 27, 2007, 12:23:51 AM
I need help from someone who's played Guild Wars longer than a week.

I was just trying to figure out what a good build for an E/MO runner would be. This is what I have -

Vital Blessing
(https://rmrk.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwiki.guildwars.com%2Fimages%2F9%2F90%2FVital_Blessing.jpg&hash=d1aace459e412bef079fdeaede1cbe4c4ba4c05a) (http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Vital_Blessing)

Elemental Attunement

Windborne Speed
(https://rmrk.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwiki.guildwars.com%2Fimages%2Fc%2Fc4%2FWindborne_Speed.jpg&hash=cd43af935e66d5cb1b401157bf9779e382c6074e) (http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Windborne_Speed)

Armor of Mist
(https://rmrk.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwiki.guildwars.com%2Fimages%2Fa%2Fad%2FArmor_of_Mist.jpg&hash=ff868502218a9c25769451ce1fe1062343950d23) (http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Armor_of_Mist)

Earthquake
(https://rmrk.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwiki.guildwars.com%2Fimages%2Fb%2Fb9%2FEarthquake.jpg&hash=7118592f1c0e4e180bc65a00130727d416900cc8) (http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Earthquake)

Frozen Burst
(https://rmrk.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwiki.guildwars.com%2Fimages%2F2%2F22%2FFrozen_Burst.jpg&hash=3c8d12e4d2d4b07d2b0a288f5efa5f621babe81a) (http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Frozen_Burst)

Rodgort's Invocation
(https://rmrk.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwiki.guildwars.com%2Fimages%2F3%2F39%2FRodgort%2527s_Invocation.jpg&hash=35e16a8e6dd51773229374c3445156460353323e) (http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Rodgort%27s_Invocation)

Heal Other
(https://rmrk.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwiki.guildwars.com%2Fimages%2F8%2F8e%2FHeal_Other.jpg&hash=963d758d46ff8403e7707e5792ea81db45440857) (http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Heal_Other)

The Vital Blessing is to raise my max health. Windborne speed and armor of mist to run faster/armor bonus. Elemental Attunement is to save some energy when I cast the two and if I have to cast the (Earthquake -> Frozen Burst -> Rodgort's Invocation) combo. I was hoping I could use heal other to heal myself. If I didn't just have Prophicies I'd replace Rodgort's Invocation with Ride the Lightning so I could skip to a R or E that was behind the enemy group and hopefully make it away in time.

The (Earthquake -> Frozen Burst -> Rodgort's Invocation) combo is supposed to knock the swarming enemys down, slow them down, and deliver massive damage at the same time. Theoreticly.

Any Comments or Criticism?

EDIT :

Ride the Lightening

I've added links to the skill descriptions, as well as Ride the Lightning.

@SirJackRex : That sucks, how'd you lose it?

Somewhere in a storage unit, in some box, probably broken... :( :( :(
But, I can buy it and an expansion for like 50$ I think I saw somewhere.

Elementalist is like the worst runner class, just so you know.  If you have the nightfall expansion, Dervishes are great runners, as are the monks and rangers in prophecies, and the assassins in the factions expansion.

My main character is Toujin Zamarech. Oddly enough he's an E/Mo. I'll probably change the /Mo later though.
I'm working on a guild called Conscendo Iussu Caelum which means "To ascend at the command of Heaven."
I won't be inviting people for a while, I've still got some goals I have in mind before I do. But I hope it works out.

EDIT : The tag is TRTS, which stands for "To Reach The Sky".

Join my guild, it has like four members.  Myself, a friend, his brother, and some random guy that wanted to join.  The guild is Eight Deaths (The eight skills you have.) and the tag is [EIDE] (Like help).  I have a cape, and I just bought a hall.  25k+ overall.  Just ask and I will send you an invite.
